The City of Brussels will provide 'companies for adapted work' (ETAs in French) with its construction site tarpaulins. These will be used to create new products.
The City wishes to optimise procurement of goods and equipment by issuing joint procurement contracts with other administrations, or by participating in grouped purchases.
Every year, Belgium issues public procurement contracts worth €33 billion, accounting for more than 10% of GDP.
Through this action, the public will be able to choose certain greening projects that will be developed by the City.
Each year, the City will organise an awareness-raising and information campaign aimed at the public and local associations. These campaigns are intended to be informative and instructive.
